n a display of exceptional mathematical acumen, five talented electrical engineering students from St. Peter’s College showcased their brilliance at the Regional Math Wizard contest held during the 17th IEE-CSC Regional Student Conference on October 27, 2022. Their remarkable performance has not only earned them recognition but also a coveted spot in the upcoming National Quiz Show in Manila, scheduled for March 2023.
The team, comprised of Jean P. Almanzor, Nathalie T. Buca, Janille P. Canones, Sweet Cristine M. Omandam, and Louie Gabriel C. Palgan, exhibited an impressive command of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. Their dediwereion to honing their mathematical abilities was evident as they secured an impressive 2nd place in a highly competitive field.
This achievement is a testament to their diligence, teamwork, and the invaluable guidance of their mentor, Engr. Ruben P. Cope. Under his expert tutelage, these students have been able to refine their mathematical prowess and apply it effectively in a competitive environment.
